Terms of Service
The rules for using Stack are intentionally short: train safely, use the app lawfully, and keep control of your own data.
Agreement
These Terms apply to Stack - Gym Tracker ("Stack"), the Stack website, and related support communications. By using Stack, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
Age Rating
Stack is rated 9+ on the App Store. If you are under 13, you should use Stack only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
What Stack Does
Stack helps you log workouts, sets, reps, weights, routines, training goals, workout history, progression trends, and optional Apple Health workout entries. Stack is a tracking tool, not a coach, doctor, physical therapist, or emergency service.
Health and Safety
Exercise involves risk. You are responsible for deciding whether a workout, weight, exercise, routine, or goal is appropriate for you. Stop exercising and seek professional medical advice if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms. Do not rely on Stack as medical or fitness advice.
Your Data
You keep ownership of the workout data and notes you enter into Stack. By using optional iCloud sync, Apple Health export, backup export, or import features, you direct Stack to move or write that data through the Apple or file-storage services you choose.
You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple ID, iCloud account, exported backup files, and any imported files secure. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, Apple account issues, deleted files, third-party storage providers, or imported backup files.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Stack, interfere with the app or website, attempt to reverse engineer or bypass technical protections except where allowed by law, upload malicious files through import features, or use Stack in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
App Store and Apple Services
Stack may use Apple services such as Sign in with Apple, iCloud, CloudKit, Apple Health, notifications, Live Activities, and the App Store. Your use of those services is also governed by Apple's terms and privacy policies.
Availability and Changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Stack over time. We may also update these Terms. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the app, website, or release notes.
Disclaimer
Stack is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lauterstar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, personal injury, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use Stack.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless your local law requires otherwise.
