The terms for using Stack, including free access, Pro purchases and your training data.
Agreement
These terms apply to Stack - Gym Tracker, this website and related support from Lauterstar Technologies, Inc. ("Lauterstar", "we" or "us"). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. If you are not old enough to enter this agreement where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to it for you.
Training decisions stay with you
Stack is a workout tracking tool, not a coach, doctor, physical therapist or emergency service. Targets, estimates, muscle coverage, plate calculations and suggested routine changes are informational. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and do not guarantee strength, fitness or health results.
You are responsible for choosing appropriate exercises, weights and routines, checking equipment and deciding whether to follow a suggestion. Exercise involves risk. Stop exercising and seek qualified medical advice if you experience concerning symptoms. Do not rely on Stack for medical advice.
Free access and Stack Pro
Stack is free to download. Workout logging, routines, history, basic strength trends, the muscle map and data export are available without buying Pro. Stack Pro is an optional upgrade. The app shows the current features, local price, billing period and any offer terms before you confirm a purchase.
Pro is offered as a monthly auto-renewing subscription, a yearly auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The lifetime option does not renew. It grants ongoing access to Stack Pro without recurring subscription payments; it is not a promise that the app, every feature, or support will be available forever.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
Apple handles purchases and charges your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Apple may charge for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Deleting Stack or its data does not cancel billing.
Cancellation normally leaves access available through the paid period. If an eligible trial or introductory offer is available, its duration, price and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Trial eligibility and cancellation behavior are governed by Apple's displayed terms. We do not promise that a trial is available to every user.
See Apple's subscription cancellation instructions. We may change prices or the features offered. Changes to an existing subscription follow Apple's notice and consent requirements and applicable law.
Restores, refunds and shared access
Use Restore Purchases in Stack with the Apple Account used for the purchase to restore eligible access. Family Sharing is available only when enabled for the purchased product and allowed by Apple; consult the current App Store offer for eligibility.
Apple handles refund requests through Report a Problem. Refund eligibility is determined under Apple's policies and applicable law. These terms do not remove any statutory refund or consumer rights.
If access expires, is refunded or is revoked, Pro features may no longer be available. Saved training data is not deleted because Pro ends. Free logging, history and data export remain available.
Your data and backups
You retain ownership of the training records, notes and photos you add. Using sync, Apple Health, sharing or export directs Stack to send information through the services or destinations you choose. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling and optional reports.
Keep your device and accounts secure and maintain backups. Progress-photo files use a separate backup from workout data. Device failures, deleted files, sync problems and replacement imports can affect your data. Review import choices before confirming them.
Using Stack lawfully
You may use Stack for its intended purpose. Do not misuse the app or website, interfere with their operation, import malicious files or bypass purchase protections. Do not infringe others' rights. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Stack's software, brand and supplied content belong to Lauterstar or their respective owners. These terms grant permission to use the app, not ownership of that material.
Apple services
Your use of the App Store, iCloud, Sign in with Apple, Apple Health and other Apple services is also subject to Apple's terms and policies. Internet access may be needed for purchases, restores and sync. Supported devices and operating systems may change with updates.
Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue parts of Stack. For material changes to these terms, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the app, website or release notes. Any changes remain subject to applicable consumer law.
Disclaimer and liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Stack is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lauterstar is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Stack. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
Governing law
Utah, United States law governs these terms, except where the mandatory law of your location provides otherwise.
